TESTIMONIALS ::

“NYCS PREP course was excellent, I highly recommend it. The course taught me so much that I never would have learnt from the books. I really loved and enjoyed everything, especially SP and their feedbacks. The last day was exactly like real exam and NYCS PREP prepared me well for it. Learned a lot and passed 1st time. Thanks a lot Dr Somas, I wouldn't have passed without your help.”

“Wow! What a great feeling to get that passing CS score! NYCS Prep gave me just what I needed to get that extra edge. Topping off my personal study with a weekend at NYCS Prep left me feeling prepared and confident. I went into the test knowing that there would be no surprises and I was not disappointed. Thank you, NYCS Prep for helping me pass this hurdle! “

“Six months ago I failed in step2 CS exam , and I was depressed because I did not know what I should do to improve my skills to pass the exam. A few days later I found NYCSPREP website and I made a reservation for the next month. I went to the course in New York city and I found there a lots of students who wanted somebody to put them in the right way. It was amazing course. In the first two days they taught us what we should ask the patient, how we should ask him and what we should answer him if he asks. They show to us how to do the physical exam and how to write the patient note. Then we practiced together to follow the true rules. The third day was a real exam. Real cases, 15 minutes for every case then 10 minutes for the patient note. It was unbelievable course. After that I passed the exam. Finally I want to say thanks to all people who work in this course because without them I could not pass.”

“I have passed the CS last month on the second attempt. I am so happy that I had come to NYCSPREP review course. Can’t imagine what would be like if I didn’t come. I have really learned the things needed from the review course, and more importantly you have built up my nearly collapsed confidence. I just learned that all the trainees in the class with me have passed the CS exam. Your review course have been doing a great job as promised and have generated a very good track record. I will recommend this course to anyone who is preparing for his cs test. I can ensure that, even with the worst bottom line scenario, this review course is more than adequate to put one on the right track for his exam. Of course, please don’t forget to do some practice.”

“I would like to thank you for providing us with great experience during the CS course as I found it very helpful during the exam. As you might recall I took the test in Chicago and I did a good job in it and passed.

“To all you guys looking for a CS review, I recommend you take the NY CS PREP before taking the exam. I took the course a few months ago, took my exam and passed all areas with high performance. The course is short an precise. They are well organized and focus on the areas that are required. There patient encounters mirrors the real exam. You get honest feedback from the preceptors and Standardized Patients. Take this course, you will not regret.”

“ I am an IMG from Pakistan and after studying books and watching some videos, I thought I was prepared for the CS. Then some1 told me about NY CS PREP and I took the course just to get some extra tips. I wasn’t expecting much from it when I went. But, the course was A+, teaching was good, as were the notes, tips by the co-ordinator and teaching environment. Number of seats in the class is limited, so grab one early, and it really helps you because individual attention is paid to every candidate. During the class, I found out that I was lacking in various aspects, so i delayed my exam, and maybe missed that EXTRA attempt on my CS for good, coz now i know i would have failed the exam without NY CS PREP.... then there is the mock test, which has SPs just like the exam itself. SPs are wery well trained + the added advantage of supervision of the encounter by specialists who observe the whole encounter and then point out the mistakes. You also talk with each SP after the time is over to get extra insight about the mistakes that you made. Value for money is also very good for this exam. So, if you are an IMG, undecided about your prep, or feeling nervous, look no further, this is the REAL DEAL man. The mock encounters also helped me in getting 2 knw the CS settings and the basic process, which made me confident nd free of tension on the exam day. I than NY CS PREP team for all the help, nd I will be grateful to them throughout my residency years and beyond.”

“I wanted to gather information regarding step 2 CS, particularly joining some course in July. After I looked up all the courses, I found them either they were too expensive for me, or the dates were not matching with my exam schedule in mid july09. Finally wanted to go for NYCS prep without any recommendation. Did my course in 2nd week of July, gave the exam on 18th in PHILI , got my results last week and I HAVE PASSED CS ONLY BECAUSE OF THAT COURSE. I am not a person to tell how the other courses for CS are, but I thought I got immense help from this one and I RECOMMEND THIS to my fellow IMGs. I came to know NYCS from this forum. The mock test actually teaches u how to manage time, focus on the case and encounter with different kinds of Standardized patients. You come to know in details how you did in the mock test, get to know your weakness. However the best part in this course is the personal touch that you get from the whole NYCS team. Good luck guys.”

“I am an IMG who first came to know about this course from this very site. I was not sure how much this course would be helpful. But being scared and not having any USCE I decided to try my luck. And it turned out to be a boon. Only after attending this course I came to actually know what CS was all about. The detailed lectures on every aspect of CS, personal attention given by the teachers, practice sessions amongst ourselves, and most importantly the mock sessions with actual SPs were immensely helpful. All in all it catered to my needs in totality and helped me prepare for the D Day well. I found the actual exam setting exactly similar to what I experienced there and that greatly help me relax and not get intimidated by the encounters. I am really grateful to the team of NYCS PREP for their guidance, with care and strongly recommend this course to aspirants like me who knew so little about how the US system of clinics works and in turn what to expect in CS. Best wishes and continue the great work NYCS PREP.”
